Karin Pfennig is a Professor in the Biology Department and Environment, Ecology and Energy Program. She studies the role of behavior in the origins and distribution of biodiversity. In her research, she works with two species of desert frogs that provide on-going insights into the remarkable ways that animals adapt to challenging environments. She loves to be outside with her family enjoying the natural world.
